Meet Our Team
Ana Marcos
Ana M. Marcos, MS, LMT, CYT is a seasoned integrative wellness practitioner and community‑centered leader with more than two decades of experience guiding people into deeper vitality and embodied well‑being.
Her work weaves Eastern healing traditions, neuromuscular therapy, functional nutrition, and yoga‑based movement to support whole‑person healing—addressing the body’s structure, energy, and daily patterns with equal care.
With advanced training in Integrative Functional Nutrition, neuromuscular therapy, and yoga, Ana bridges ancient wisdom with modern science to help clients resolve pain, regulate the nervous system, and build lasting resilience.
As a mother, healer, and founder of purpose‑driven wellness initiatives, she is devoted to creating spaces where individuals and communities can reconnect with harmony, clarity, and sovereignty in their well‑being.
Sophia Harvey
Sophia brings a strong blend of administrative and operational experience to the organization, with a background spanning legal, medical, and tech environments. She has supported attorneys, physicians, and academic leaders while managing workflows, coordinating logistics, and keeping daily operations running smoothly.
She also draws on her experience in software engineering and team leadership, where she guided project cycles, resolved blockers, and supported cross‑department collaboration. This mix of structure, technical understanding, and people‑centered support allows her to adapt quickly and strengthen organizational efficiency.
Aligned with the mission of wellness and community care, Sophia brings clarity, organization, and steady support to every team she serves.
Quinn Clarke
Quinn brings over seven years of specialized financial expertise to the Board of Directors, with a professional background centered in public accounting. His experience includes four years of providing assurance services in addition to three and a half years providing buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence.
While his career began in accounting/finance rather than a traditional healthcare field, Quinn is deeply committed to the organization’s mission. As Treasurer, he leverages his analytical acumen to ensure the organization’s long-term financial sustainability and transparency.
Outside of work, Quinn enjoys engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking and playing basketball.
Dr. Cheryl Jemmott
Dr. Cheryl A. Jemmott, ND, CNM, APRN, is a global maternal and family health leader with nearly 40 years of clinical and humanitarian service. Beginning her career as a Certified Nurse-Midwife serving underserved inner-city communities, she later expanded her work to support Mexican migrant farming families along the Texas–Mexico border.
Since 1997, she has also practiced as a naturopathic physician, specializing in uncovering the root causes of complex diseases through holistic, non-toxic healing approaches for men, women, and children.
A dedicated advocate for health equity and social justice, Dr. Jemmott has led clinical and service initiatives across Africa, Asia, and Europe. Today, she is pioneering wellness sanctuaries in West Africa and the Caribbean that combine holistic healing, organic agriculture, and sustainable living to strengthen community resilience and long-term wellbeing.
Deborah Haynes
Deborah Haynes is a Registered Nurse and seasoned Healthcare Executive with more than 40 years of experience in Wellness and Preventive Health. A former Chief Operating Officer for Anti-Aging and Vitality Centers, she has led medical practices specializing in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.
As CEO and Founder of BE Vitalized & Energized Wellness Center, Deborah empowers individuals to embrace preventive health, intentional self-care, and discover how advanced non-invasive technologies can elevate their well-being and vitality.
Recognized for her clarity, vision, and unwavering commitment to proactive wellness, Deborah continues to inspire individuals to take charge of their health and live with greater energy, balance, and purpose.
Frances Ganges
Frances Ganges is a midwife and global public health leader with more than four decades of experience advancing maternal and newborn health across over 30 countries, primarily in Africa. She currently serves as Interim CEO of The Midwife Foundation, where she leads strategy, governance, and global partnerships.
A strategist, educator, and coalition-builder, Frances has worked with organizations including the International Confederation of Midwives, Jhpiego/Johns Hopkins, Johnson & Johnson, and Save the Children US. She has trained thousands of health providers and co-convened the 2024 Unifying Midwifery in Africa Summit.
Frances serves on multiple international boards and is completing her PhD in Global Health at Maastricht University (Netherlands).
How GWAF was created?
GWAF was created to address the growing need for accessible, culturally grounded wellness resources in underserved communities. It emerged from a shared vision to empower families with practical tools for healing, resilience, and long‑term well‑being.
